Review: The Vision Charity Ball 2010

December 4th, 2010 was the day when the 2010 Vision Ball transported the man attendees back to the Prohibition era with ’A Night in Chicago’. If you were on the look for a way to entertain your clients, staff or colleagues, or you would have liked to have started your Christmas season off with a terrific night out then the vision ball event would have been the right choice for you.

While you enjoyed the memorable evening, you would also simultaneously have helped to raise money for visually impaired and blind children. Along with the best entertainment there were more surprise to look forward to, like performers from the hit musical Chicago, stand up comic Marcus Brigstocke, unique auction items, and many wonderful prizes. The participants also had a chance of win a diamond worth 12,000 pounds and many other amazing gifts.

The Ball, which is now in its 35th year, was held once again at The Grosvenor House Hotel. The charity aims at providing good entertainment for its guests, as well as raise maximum possible money for changing the lives of those children who are in much need of it. In the present climate where it is difficult to raise funds for any charity this event was well attended.

The tables at event started from 2,500 Pounds and the catering along with the catering supplies was excellent. For more information on what happened on that night and about the ball you can visit the charity’s site. As per the official site, the evening has to offer a champagne reception, dinner in the Great Room, and world class entertainment.

It was a night of some of the top entertainment and at the same time was a great way to raise money to help the needy children, then this was the event for you.
